The Subaru model also comes standard with two-speed windshield wipers with variable-intermittent mode and a mist feature, in addition to a single-speed rear window wiper with fixed-intermittent mode.
Performance and Safety
The ambitious Subaru Forester comes standard with a 2.5-liter DOHC direct-injection aluminum-alloy SUBARU BOXER® engine. The engine has 182 horsepower and 176 pound-feet of torque. Most trims of the Subaru Forester have a maximum towing capacity of 1,500 pounds, but for drivers who need a stronger vehicle, the Wilderness trim of the Forester has a maximum towing capacity of 3,000 pounds.
Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC), Traction Control System (TCS), Active Torque Vectoring, and Trailer Stability Assist (TSA) all come standard with the Subaru Forester. Electric Power-Assisted Rack and Pinion Steering (EPAS), a four-wheel independent suspension, Brake Assist, and Brake Override System are also features you can appreciate while driving to Smyrna.
